Avis sur Salamandre - La Loggia (Ref. 0353) - Location de vacances Sarlat la Caneda The house was absolutely lovely and very modern and clean. Hosts were excellent. It maybe worth noting that the layout has two interconnecting bedrooms (both with separate access) which may not be to everyone’s preference but would certainly be great for families with young children. All bedrooms are very roomy doubles. We would definitely recommend this place for Sarlat as it had super facilities and great walking access to the town centre which is lovely and very vibrant. |

Avis sur Palanquée (Ref. 0206) - Location de vacances Saint Martial de Nabirat Prachtig huis in de mooie Dordogne streek. Huis ligt in een rustige straat en vlakbij een klein plaatsje. We hebben genoten van de tuin met zwembad en het heerlijke huis. De host via airbnb was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad! |

Avis sur Le Reve (Ref. 0219) - Location de vacances Domme What an idyllic, peaceful place to stay. Private but within walking distance of great restaurants - rarity when renting a villa. Property perfect location with fantastic views. Spacious and bedrooms, bathrooms lovely. The kitchen is small but perfectly adequate for a holiday. There is little storage space in the kitchen so you need to be creative with where you put your food items! Things to note: There are no general food shops in Domme, nearest are in Cénac et St Julien - small supermarket and fantastic bakery and local farm shop. A lot of the restaurants are closed Tuesday/Wednesday so plan in advance. In conclusion, we cannot recommend this property highly enough and hope to return one day. |

Avis sur Arc en Ciel (Ref. 0549) - Location de vacances Castelnaud la Chapelle We had a wonderful stay. Rosemary communicated well with us and was very friendly. The house was clean and well kept. The swimming pool was cleaned every day. The location is very peaceful and the views fabulous. On starry nights it was great to sit out on the terrace and star gaze ( no background lights to spoil the night sky) . Lots to do in the area. We got season tickets to visit Chateau des Milandes so we could go in and out when we felt like it. There is a bistro and falconry displace a few times a day. Lots of castles, caves, gardens and walks in the area. We had a fabulous holiday |

La maison s'est immédiatement sentie comme à la maison et était très bien équipée. Nous avons adoré utiliser la piscine et les tables extérieures, les bancs et les chaises longues. De nombreuses destinations exceptionnelles à moins d'une demi-heure de route. Parfait pour une pause paisible. |

Avis sur Vue du Chateau (Ref. 0338) - Location de vacances Vitrac We had a wonderful holiday- perfect for grandparents, parents and children aged 8 and 4. The house is spacious . Nice not to have ‘extra beds’ and sofa beds cluttering the place. It was easy to ‘live in immediately. Incredibly beautiful and peaceful garden and pool area. There was lots to do for all ages- canoeing, swimming, games in the garden, bird watching… The many different places of interest were easily accessible. Sabine and Melanie, the hosts were very helpful. Would highly recommend. |

Avis sur Chateau de la Roque (Ref. 0279) - Location de vacances La Roque Gageac Commentaire public To say this beautiful castle is spectacular is an understatement!! Our hosts went to great lengths to make sure our stay was incredible, making it the most memorable travel experience ever!! Alix and Simone helped me plan our group itinerary, offering suggestions of what to do during the day and making reservations for us at night for activities and restaurants. We cooked dinner in the well appointed kitchen and enjoyed dinner on the terrace overlooking the gorgeous river, watching the hot air balloons rise over the river- what a unique and memorable experience!! The caretaker of the property Juliana is FANTASTIC and cooked us the most exquisite French meal, she is a fabulous resource, and if you are not into cooking yourself, but want to experience dinner at the castle- I highly recommend her talents!! The town/ paths within walking distance are so charming- you feel you are in a French fairy tale- and for one week- we were!!! We would love to return, thank you to our hosts!!!! |

Avis sur Manoir de Beynac (Ref. 0256) - Location de vacances BEYNAC An absolutely stunning historic home with truly incredible views over the Dordogne and the village of Beynac. The bedrooms are all of a good size, and the whole house just oozes character and charm. The hosts were very quick to respond to any questions we had. The location, right in the heart of Beynac and just a few metres from the castle is fantastic, and I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anybody else. The village itself is also gorgeous, with lovely restaurants and boulangeries. It is fantastically located for other castles in the area, and for kayaking down the Dordogne, which we all enjoyed! The only downside was the plumbing, which tended to be very noisy, meaning that whoever made the first cup of tea of the day invariably woke everybody else in the property up too! That was a relatively minor problem for us though, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. |

It has impressive outside area’s with always somewhere to grab the last of the days rays and relax with a glass of wine. Close to two Restaurants in Daglan just a short drive away; and numerous others in the vicinity to explore – all friendly and welcoming ! |

Avis sur Hautes Vignes (Ref. 0560) - Location de vacances Daglan Lovely old farmhouse set in its own grounds in the French countryside of the Dordogne. It has two lounges both with TV’s so if you’re a large party you won’t feel on top of each other. Traditional kitchen which is well equipped with plenty of cooking paraphernalia, microwave, massive fridge, small freezer, oven dishes etc. The veranda has a large table for alfresco dinning, oh I nearly forget it has gas BBQ which the Guys loved! Fabulous pool which I estimate is at least 17ft, with sun loungers, parasols, bistro sets, and gazebo for those seeking shade. It really is a peaceful location but yet it’s only a 4 minutes’ drive to the nearest restaurant of which there are many in the area. Daglan is the closest, which is an attractive medieval town so French its adorable. Extra’s include board games books DVD’s, a washing machine, and of course it has Wi-Fi. All in all an ideal retreat for a relaxing stay. |

Avis sur Montillou (Ref. 0386) - Location de vacances Domme Beautiful spacious old property in stunning pretty neat gardens. Plenty of outside furniture with two dining locations, one adjacent to the house and one by the pool. Lovely heated pool in the middle of the extensive gardens which was clean and well presented, surrounded by porcelain tiles and a convenient shower. Quietly located but only a short drive to lovely Domme, and well located for lots of tourist spots . Melanie and Sabine very kind , communicative and responsive hosts. House could benefit from a bit of a spruce up as with a lot of traditional old properties but that didn’t detract from our wonderful holiday , and it’s obvious that recent updating has taken place especially in the stunning gardens. The photos of the house accurately reflect what is on offer. Nice walks from the house down to the river, and we recommend “ le Chalet” for dinner, we went twice. |

Avis sur Le Reve (Ref. 0219) - Location de vacances Domme Our stay at the house in Domme was excellent from start to finish. The house is exactly as presented on the website and is in a stunning location with magnificent views over a valley. Sabine and the team were on hand for any enquiries we had and the information left in the house for guests gives you plenty of options for things to do. What is great is you can walk into the village, which is so picturesque, in two to three minutes where there are some excellent restaurants and bars. Our only minor criticism is that the sunbeds at the house have no cushions and they are slightly uncomfortable. Worth the investment in some cushions we thought. |

Avis sur Hautes Vignes (Ref. 0560) - Location de vacances Daglan We stayed at the villa for one week in June, it was spacious, clean and had lots of character. It is surrounded by the peaceful countryside, with only distant noises of sheep, it really was the definition of a relaxing French countryside break! The bed was very comfortable and kitchen was fully equipped. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the outside seated areas and around the pool. The pool itself was a fantastic size and not too breathtakingly cold. There are idyllic little villages all in 10-20 minute driving distance. I would recommend checking the opening-closing time of restaurants if you are coming this time of year as some are not open late or for dinner. The Annexxe was a great little spot down in Daglan, under a 10 min drive away. Thanks for having us! |

Avis sur Clos du Présidial (Ref. 0381) - Location de vacances Sarlat la Caneda We had a great stay at the house with our dog. The apartment location was very central in the middle of the old town surrounded by lovely restaurants. It was also very quiet despite being near the centre. The apartment was very well equipped and kept in a good state. The basics for cooking and tea/coffee were provided along with the nice touch of a welcome bottle of wine. There was a small mix up on check in in finding the correct one of the two adjacent properties, but Sabine was very responsive and sorted it out and this didn't detract from the stay. Overall we would definitely recommend this property to others and Sarlat as a great jumping off point for the nearby areas in the Dordorgne. |

Avis sur Maison de Pérance (Ref. 0572) - Location de vacances St-Laurent-la-Vallée The house is a dream… We rented the property for birthday celebrations with family and friends - the place exceeded all our expectations. Enough space for everyone to eat together and chat both inside and out, but also lots of private spots to just sit and read or simply enjoy the beautiful views and, especially in the mornings, the absolute calm and quiet. Simply listening to birds in the trees, the humming of bees in the beautiful flowers and bushes, and sometimes even spotting a deer in the distance, was so relaxing - it just felt like paradise. The rooms are all spacious and nicely furnished and the kitchen has everything you could possibly wish for - and more. The pool, its fixtures, and surroundings are splendid and even tempted the more reluctant of swimmers amongst us to enjoy it. There are a number of interesting places to visit within a 20-30 minute drive, but we so much enjoyed the house and surroundings it was difficult to leave. All of us were just enchanted with the house and for Paul and me (but I think we’re not alone), the place is just magic and we hope to return. |
