Ideal location The property is in a great location to explore the Dordogne. The village itself has a few shops, including two bakeries but also a supermarket within walking distance. We ate in one of the restaurants which was good, and also walked up the steep slope to the beautiful Domme on a couple of occasions. There was a river beach and canoe hire right on our doorstep, so we enjoyed water activities with our children. The house itself was a beautifully converted mill, which had been tastefully restored. It had everything we needed. As the weather had been incredibly dry it was recommended we didn’t use the built in BBQ due to proximity to foliage but the owner kindly drop off a brand new portable one. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
